A grievance procedure is a means of internal dispute resolution by which an employee may have individual or collective grievances addressed. Appeals and grievances are a legal right available to employees. Promoting fair and transparent processes in the workplace, can improve employee relations through building an environment of trust and reduced conflict.

  • What action to take when you receive a formal grievance

  • The right and responsibilities of union and employee representatives

Who is the course aimed at? 

Supervisors and managers who may have to deal with an appeal, or investigate a grievance.

How is it delivered?

The course is interactive and delivered using practical individual and group exercises and case study analysis.

Delegates are encouraged to discuss their own experiences.

Course duration
